Kindling the Fire

Mark my words, clansmen: a harsh winter lies ahead. Street thugs fight for the last roll of toilet paper and politicians assume a wraith-like existence in their security bunkers. Meanwhile it’s getting crowded at our campfire. I guess the endless lockdowns and expert platitudes have cast doubt on the stability of civilization.

I hereby make it clear that nobody’s obliged to wear a mask in my domain. It takes more than a cough to break the stride of the neobarbarians. In fact, there has been a surge in tribal activity this month:

• The German edition of Pillagers and a special corporate edition of Barbarian’s Moon (also in German) have arrived at the Kindle Store. It was a bumpy road, especially with the mighty Donald wrecking havoc across the net, but we made it just in time for the memorial day of Guy Fawkes.
• My personal corner on this site has been overhauled to make room for other members of our community. While I started this whole thing, I’m by no means the sole hero of the tribe. And in my realm, no courageous deed shall go unnoticed.
• The initial chapters of Pillagers have finally been translated into English. The archivists are preparing the documents for distribution as we speak!
