Barbarian’s at the Gate

I didn’t expect to conduct another “big” announcement so soon. Yet as it stands, August is shaping up to be an interesting month for the tribe. For the barbarians are at the gate and they’re not leaving.

First, book 1 of the neobarbarian legend has actually made it onto the longlist of the Tolino Newcomer Award. Whether it will advance any further is another question, of course. Nevertheless, it’s a pleasant surprise to see the truth of the coming age spread.

Second, the archivists are preparing the data files of “Barbarian’s Moon” for distribution. German members of the tribe can expect to find the manuscript in their inbox next week. As for our English speaking friends, they will unfortunately need to exercise some patience. If all goes smoothly, though, the translated version should deploy over the course of September as well.

On a closing note, I’d like to address the “social media question”: yes, I am—currently—not present in the sacred halls of Instagram or Facebook. This is due to the fact that, in the past, there has been some “friction” between my humble self and the robotic entity going by the name of Zuckerberg. I’d like to refrain from opening old wounds.

I know, however, that my arch-nemesis Eliphas Kramer has taken a liking to “being social”. I neither support nor condemn his actions on these platforms.
