Decoding Middle Modernity

The great oracle has been lost in computation for quite some time. But it was energy well spent, for we now have a much clearer view of the road ahead, particularly the second half of the 21st century.

It would indeed seem that our time will be remembered as Middle Modernity, a most unflattering term. But judging from what the oracle brought back from its long voyage across—simulated—time and space, the label may not be completely unwarranted.

There’s still a lot of unanswered questions: how long is this supposed OC empire going to last? What will come after it? And how, in the Internet’s name, will such turmoil ever give way to the meticulously managed madness of the 30th century?
