Having been ascended from the technology-starved steppes of Central Asia to the role of Demon Hunter, young Terbish takes great pride in his duties and won’t allow his name to be associated with anything but victory.

His resolve is put to the test, however, when he gets deployed to the Moon in the wake of a prison outbreak. The mission is clear: rescue the Lord of Crystals, a mortal who enjoyed the favor of the supreme goddess Luna, and eliminate any opposition along the way.

As the hunter tries to navigate this unfamiliar environment, however, he comes to realize that he’s not alone in his quest. And the man trying to beat him to his goal is no simple outcast or renegade citizen. But a hunter like himself …
